Normally, I would have cringed at the sight of this summer day – instead I took advantage of the weather and went for a four mile run. As I ran I sweated, coughed, cramped up, and might have shed some tears. All the pain I felt didn’t seem to matter once I reached the beach. The sight alone was of pure magic. I was suddenly rejuvenated and for the first time in months – completely calm. There are a few moments in life that are brief, but necessary. What I found was that it takes 20 seconds of pure insanity – and a hell of a lot of endurance to find them.
